Aquaculture/Lab Design
RedFin can provide design, construction and installation services for commercial or research aquaculture laboratories. RedFin have a selection of pre designed aquaculture systems. Full turn-key solutions can also be provided.
RedFin have experience designing systems for some of the most delicate and hard to keep breed species such as jellyfish, cephalopods and corals.
Jellyfish Aquaculture Systems
RedFin work along side Exotic Aquaculture who are the main supplier of jellyfish to the worlds public aquariums. Exotic breed over 20 species of jellyfish and each requires its own specific conditions to grow and thrive.
RedFin have developed aquariums specifically for the breeding and display if jellyfish. These aquariums have been installed at some of the worlds largest and most prestigious aquariums including Oceanographic, Valencia, Cube Oceanarium, China and Cairns Aquarium, Australia.

Coral Aquaculture and Research
As the worlds coral reefs decline due to environmental changes research into their growth, health and reproduction grows in importance. RedFin’s team have a wide experience in coral husbandry. RedFin have developed a range of coral husbandry equipment for the aquaculture of coral.
Coral Aquaculture Grow-out Aquariums
RedFin has developed a coral propagation system which is suitable for small fragments (frags) of coral through to full sized colonies. Two sizes of these coral tray are available and other custom sizes can be built on request. Each coral aquaculture system comes with a built in filtration system and high quality lighting system proven to grow most species of photosynthetic coral.
